How do I book a photo session with you?
Look up at the time slots above and click on the time you'd like and hit continue, that will take you through the process. If all slots are available please email me at mikesmedia.li@gmail.com or through my contact page in order to be put on the wait list. But please don't delay!
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
It takes about a week and a half to two weeks for everything to be finished. You will receive an email with a tracking number when it is on the way to you. If you get a digital copy, that link will be there to download the photo and even buy print copies if you choose.
CAN I GET A DIGITAL COPY OF THE TINTYPE? CAN IT BE RETOUCHED?
YES AND YES! High resolution digital copies can be added to your order and if you really want some parts can be retouched. But be real, why retouch a tintype, its a part of the process.
What does the $15 Cover?
The $15 being paid is only for the time slot reservation. But don't fret, the $15 covers the shipping of your finished Tintype.
What tintype sizes are available?
There are different sizes
- 4x5
- 5x7
- 4x5 half frame**
- 5x7 quad frame**
**These can either be cut or kept connected since they are photographed on one plate but allowing multiple smaller photos to be captured
Which size do you recomend?
If I am photographing / focusing on a person any of the sizes will work great. If we want a full car to be in the photo we will need to choose the 4x5 or 5x7 options. On the day some options may become unavailable do to weather conditions, timing and remaining materials. With this process things happen and change quickly.
